Female Mobile Support (FMS)

Female Mobile Support (FMS) provides a 24/7 crisis response and continuum of care to girls between the ages of 12-24 from the crisis stage to the stabilization stage with flexible operating hours.

How does this Program help?

FMS supports vulnerable female youth who have been involved, are still involved in, or are vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation across Central Region. The FMS Caseworker provides a strong mentoring relationship and encourages safe and healthy decision making; nurture independence and skill development; and provides connects and referrals to community resources required for success reintegration.

What can this Program Do?

FMS works with girls involved in the life providing support and services in whatever capacity we can. Whether it’s finding a safe place to live, getting into school or finding a job, going through court processes, etc.

What Services does this Program Provide?

FMS can provide basic needs, housing, life skills, education, employment and legal support, counselling, safety planning, mental health services, medical care, substance use, pregnancy support, mentoring, and advocacy.

Who is Eligible?

Females between the ages of 12-24 who have been involved in, or are still involved in, or are vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation across Central Region.
