Donate Resources

Here at the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peel-Halton, our programs are hugely dependent upon funding from individuals, community groups, and corporations. Through donations, we are able to continue empowering women and girls, and strengthening their well-being through prevention, support, reintegration, and advocacy efforts.

Maintaining the health and safety of our clients and employees is our number one priority. Due to COVID-19, the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peel-Halton will not be accepting clothing and/or accessory donations until further notice. This is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our community.

However, the need for support stills exists. These are the following ways that you can continue to donate and give back to women and girls in Peel & Halton:

Financial Donations:

  • Cheques or Money Orders can be mailed into our office. Our mailing address is 44 Peel Centre Drive, Suite 200 Brampton, ON L6T 4B5.
  • Online Donations can be facilitated through CanadaHelps.org – where giving is made simple. Please follow this link to donate directly to our organization: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/elizabeth-fry-society-of-peel/

Hygiene Kits / Gift Cards

  • We are currently accepting Hygiene Kits. All products must be unused and unopened. Items in a hygiene kit may include: soap, shampoo, conditioner, brushes and combs, deodorant, dental hygiene products, lotion, hand sanitizer, and feminine hygiene products.
  • Gift Cards are also being accepted. We most commonly receive gift cards to the following retail stores: Walmart, Grocery Stores, Fast Food Vendors (i.e. Tim Hortons, McDonalds), and Shoppers Drug Mart.

If you are interested in dropping of hygiene kits to our Agency, please contact Caitlin Watts, Human Resources Manager, by email cwatts@efrypeelhalton.ca or by phone at 289-233-3549 to make arrangements. Our office locations in both Brampton and Mississauga are not currently open and we prefer that our donors do not drop-off without a staff member onsite.

Thank you for your commitment to our community. It is an honour to partner with you in an effort to help women and girls. Your continued support sustains our mission and makes all of the difference.
